Committed to Community
Dedicated to Progress
Why I decided to run for office.
It seemed to be the next logical step for me. I have been involved in the Deltona community for many years. I was part of the first graduating COP volunteers many years ago. Both of my children have attended Deltona schools. We have been part of the local soccer teams for over 10 years, and you can even see me helping sell those girl scout cookies every February.
Attending city hall meetings and sitting on the Beautification Board and the City Manager Selection Committee has given me a desire to become more involved with helping Deltona continue to grow and be a wonderful place to live and raise a family.
As a Social Studies teacher, I communicate to my students that their voice is the most powerful tool they have in government. By representing the people of District 2 as their Commissioner they will know there is a positive voice representing them in city issues. I will always listen to their concerns and always get them answers.
